Who is responsible
This website is run by the independent publisher of the Forever guides. For anything about your data, contact contact@forevergoldguide.com. Payment data is handled by Payhip and its payment processors under their own privacy policies.
The short version
- This website uses no cookies and no advertising trackers.
- When you buy a guide, checkout and payment are handled by Payhip and its payment processors (card or PayPal). We never see your card details.
- We receive your name, email address, country and purchase details from Payhip so we can deliver the guides, send you new editions and answer support requests.
- Your purchase email and date are printed on the pages of your copy of the PDF, to discourage unauthorized sharing.
What we process and why
- Website visits. The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and protect the site from attacks (legitimate interest, GDPR art. 6(1)(f)). We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies and without identifying you.
- Purchases. Name, email, country and order details, to deliver the product and provide support (performance of a contract, art. 6(1)(b)), and to keep the tax and accounting records the law requires (legal obligation, art. 6(1)(c)).
- Emails. We email you about your purchase and new editions of the guide you bought. We only send other marketing email if you opted in, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
Who else processes your data
- Payhip (checkout, delivery and EU/UK VAT collection) and its payment processors, such as Stripe and PayPal.
- Cloudflare (hosting, security and cookieless analytics).
Some of these providers are based outside the European Economic Area. Transfers rely on an adequacy decision of the European Commission or on standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
Purchase records are kept for as long as Spanish tax and accounting law requires. Support emails are deleted once they're no longer needed.
Your rights
You can ask for access to, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your data, or object to its processing, by emailing contact@forevergoldguide.com. If you think your data has been mishandled, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es) or your local authority.
